Miss Gay United States

Tajma Stetson
Tajma Stetson has called Kansas City home for the last 10 years. By day he works for a local coffee roastery and on stages he works as a professional clarinet player and drag entertainer.
As a classical musician, Tajma holds his Master's degree in clarinet performance. He plays regularly with the Kansas City Civic Orchestra and with Kinnor Philharmonic, one of three Jewish orchestras in the US, where for seven seasons he has served as principal clarinet.
Tajma has competed nationally six times--three consecutive years at Miss Gay America, where in 2011 he won the Leslie Rage Talent Award, once in 2013 at National Entertainer of the Year where he place 3rd alternate, once at Miss Gay United States ICON winning Most Beautiful, and most recently capturing the Miss Gay United States 2019 crown.
As an advocate of diminishing the stigma surrounding HIV and AIDS, Tajma has organized and performed in chamber music concerts benefiting AIDS Walk KC and plans to hold more benefit concerts in the future. Also championing the right to vote, Tajma will mobilize people in and around the Gay United States family to be involved in voting especially in the national elections in 2020.
Tajma is immensely grateful, humbled, and honored to be representing Kansas City and the Midwest as Miss Gay United States 2019 making the #BeNationalBeUnited anthem the key to an amazing year in Gay United States Pageantry.
